Microsoft Download Center
Did someone say free stuff from Microsoft? Yes, that's right, everything listed at Microsoft's Download Center is free. It's a great place to go to upgrade to the latest browser or email application. You can get Outlook Express and Internet Explorer here for both Windows and Mac formats. The automated system makes it easy to pick and choose what you need. This is also a great place to get patches and upgrades to programs you bought from Microsoft. Did we mention--it's free.

Microsoft Internet Explorer Home Page
Download Microsoft's fastest browser for free or order it on CD for $6.95. "Internet Explorer 5 not only displays Web pages faster, it's designed to save you time on the things you do most often," Microsoft officials say. Go to this site to upgrade or download Internet Explorer for free.

Netscape Netcenter

Netscape comes free with many features, including Netscape Radio, listen to commercial-free radio over the Internet; Winamp MP3 player, download your favorite songs and create your own digital jukebox with this new musical file format; Netscape Instant Messaging, just because you aren't an America Online User anymore doesn't mean you can't still chat with your AOL buddies; Instant Access to Shopping, shop from the convenience of your home and have your packages delivered to you. Netscape includes a topline Internet browser and email application. This can also be ordered on CD for $5.95.

NCSA Mosaic (tm) for the Macintosh Home Page
This site is the home page for NCSA Mosaic for the Macintosh, an Internet information browser and World Wide Web client. NCSA Mosaic was developed at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. If you wanna be different than everyone else and you own a Mac you may wanna try this one out.
